Success certainly comes in all shapes and sizes, but on this page we are celebrating the success of our clients who successfully landed a dietetic internship or practicum and are on their way to becoming Dietitians!
We know what truly made these students successful is all of the hard work they put into their studies, experiences, and applications - a huge kudos to them! We are so happy to have gotten to know them as clients and members and now to celebrate their wins alongside them.

Hayley says Discovering Dietetics was a huge part of her journey because it helped her stay organized and on top of the lengthy application process. She was worried about balancing internship applications with school, working, volunteering, and socializing, but says Discovering Dietetics made that easier. She was especially grateful for the support system provided through Q&A sessions, email check-ins, and the sense that Discovering Dietetics truly cares and is invested in clients' success.
Hayley's Words of Wisdom:
Don't be so hard on yourself! This is easier said than done, but you have come so far and that can be easy to forget sometimes.

Lexie says Discovering Dietetics provided reassurance and clarity to her in the application process - strengthening her CV and interview skills specifically. As an applicant member, Lexie felt less alone in the application process and appreciated having a friendly space to ask questions along the way.
Lexie's Words of Wisdom:
Be yourself and kind to your classmates, the process is very stressful and nerve wracking so it is a good time to show support and remain positive to one another. On top of that, work hard and create time to volunteer and gain experiences within the community because this is something people look for when you apply, not necessarily just grades. Lastly, don't stress; everything will get done and work out the way it should.

Esraa describes Discovering Dietetics as being a game-changer in her journey and says she was able to go through the application process, and internship, confidently because of the tailored support we provided. She adds, "What truly sets Discovering Dietetics apart is that they offered a type of support and program-specific application and interview tips and tricks that one wouldn't find in a google search or the conventional university or career counselling support. I was connected in this program with several dietitians who are very experienced and seasoned and offer insights that can't be found on conventional interview or resume and cover letter webpages. Without Discovering Dietetics by my side, I honestly can't imagine how I would have tackled this application journey."
Esraa's Words of Wisdom:
Stay curious and self-aware. In the world of dietetics, curiosity keeps you sharp and eager to always learn, while being self-aware empowers you to make those tough but rewarding personal and professional strides.
