Because we hear and see both sides.
Acacia is a professor who has seen the "other side" of internship applications (I.e. written references, interviewed applicants, etc.) but is also young and new enough to remember how TOUGH it is to go through the process. Leveraging her contacts, Acacia has been able to marry the 'educator/insider perspective' with the real, raw, experience of students. This has created a concoction of perspectives and advice that has never been available to Canadian nutrition students, and we can't wait to share it with you.

Because we really do care.
This business has been created out of desire for change and empowerment of students, not out of desire for wealth. Of course we need cash flow to sustain our business, but every decision we make is with students' best interest front of mind.

Because internship coordinators and dietetic educators don't always have the time.
By no fault of their own, internship coordinators and educators across Canada are pressed for time. Many don't have the capacity to give you the personal, deep, meaningful support and guidance that an external body, like Discovering Dietetics can.
